Technical Training

Iris ID provides several option for technical training:

  • “On-line” Training – 2 1/2 Hour session covering specific topics related to Iris ID products and/or iris biometric technology.
  • “In-person” Training – 6+ hour training sessions at Iris ID’s Cranbury New Jersey USA offices.  Many include “hand-on” training with Iris ID Products.
  • “On-Site” Training – Multi-day sessions (2 day minimum) at a partner or end-user facility.

“On-Line” Technical Training

“On-Line” technical training sessions can arranged for a specific topic related to Iris ID Products.  These sessions are typically 2 1/2 hours long, therefore designed for a single product and/or subject per session.

“In-Person” Technical Training at Iris ID (Cranbury, New Jersey)

“In-Person” training classes at Iris ID provides the most comprehensive information on Iris ID products available.  Many of these sessions include hands-on practical training and an optional exam to receive Iris ID certification.

Different courses are available during the same week, this way the attendee can join to the desired sessions.  The enrollment fee covers the cost for attendance to all sessions available during the week of training.

Advanced reservations at least two weeks prior to the scheduled training session is required. It is recommended to reserve in advance as attendance is limited to 8 people per session.

For Partners
Iris ID charges $200/ per person (per session) to our partners for training at our facility. This cost of course materials (provided to the participant to take home), and the continental breakfasts and lunches we provide. Attendees are responsible for all other expenses, including travel, hotel and dinner.

For Non-Partners
Non-partners may inquire about training classes via email at: techsupport@irisid.com for pricing and availability. If you are not a partner, charges for training (per person) are subject to change at anytime, and may often not reflect partner discounted training rates. Priority placement for Iris ID Partners is given prior to placement of a non-partner in any of our scheduled training classes.

    • Tuesday February 11th: IrisAccess Overview and Technical Training.
    • Wednesday February 12th: IrisTime Overview and Technical Training.
    • Thursday February 13th: IrisAccelerator-M, Device SDK, and iData Iris SDK Overview.
  • July 2025:
    • Tuesday July 15th: IrisAccess Overview and Technical Training.
    • Wednesday July 16th: IrisTime Overview and Technical Training.
    • Thursday July 17th: IrisAccelerator-M, Device SDK, and iData Iris SDK Overview.
  • October 2025:
    • Tuesday October 20th: IrisAccess Overview and Technical Training.
    • Wednesday October 21st: IrisTime Overview and Technical Training.
    • Thursday October 22nd: IrisAccelerator-M, Device SDK, and iData Iris SDK Overview.
Note: Dates, availability, and subject of classes can be changed.  Enrolled attendees will be informed of any changes in advance.

Steps for Enrollment

  1. Send a registration/enrollment request to techsupport@irisid.com
  2. Provide the desired subject(s) that you wish to have for training.
  3. Provide the scheduled date(s) you wish to attend.
  4. Provide the name of all attendees. (include email address, phone number, and company affiliation)
  5. Wait for availability confirmation from Iris ID. (usually provided within 24 hours in the form of either an email and/or phone call)
  6. Provide Payment once confirmation approval of training has been issued by Iris ID. (Payment instructions are listed below)
  7. A registration and payment confirmation will be sent prior to training. (Only individuals that have been confirmed enrollment and have paid for the training will be able to attend).

“On-Site” Training at Partner’s or Customer’s Facility

Iris ID can provide custom technical training sessions at a partner or end-user facility.   These “on-site” training sessions are charges per a fee schedule and all expenses are to be paid by requester.  To learn more about this training option and the associated fee schedule, please contact Technical Support at techsupport@irisid.com.
